St. Patrick's Day Parade a Huge Success!

On Saturday, March 15, 2008, the engelhart4judge.com 2008 green hybrid cruised silently in electric-only mode to Minute Maid Park for the downtown St. Patrick's Day parade. Mike walked with the Greater Heights Area Democrats, with thanks to Kevin Sullivan for inviting us.

Mike handed out beads and candy and his campaign cards, and shook hands all along the parade route, introducing himself to the happy spectators. He introduced himself to HPD officers lining the route, mentioning that he had been endorsed by the Houston Police Patrolmen's Union. People shouted encouragement to our large contingent of excited Democrats, and were incredibly enthusiastic about voting Democratic in November. To coin a phrase, I love a parade!
