It talks about a man visiting family and listening to his grandmother talk about his grandfather fixing and reusing everything he could get his hands on and compares that to his open-source computer work of present day. The author's grandfather died the same year he was born -- read about what his grandmother did after that. Just the right tone to start a week of work.
