"August is an ideal time to take a cruise on Loch Lomond, either on a Sweeneys Cruise running regularly from Balloch, or from the Cameron House Hotel marina on a private luxury champagne cruise.
August is also the time for Golf on the 'Wee Demon' - a 9 hole course where the lodge is ideally situated for a break for 'tea' or 'brunch' at the no:5 green before resuming to complete the course. For serious Golfers there are a number of nearby courses including the new championship course at the Carrick.
Alternatively just relax on the lodge balcony, or make use of the leisure facilities at the Hotel. (access and towels included) Take a trip to Glasgow shopping or visit one of the many museums before returning to the superb facilities the Lodge offers. (see below)
Why not arrange for the Hotel chef to come and cook for you in the Lodge (prior arrangement), or you can cater for yourself in the fully equipped kitchen. There is a Lodge Sauna, as well as two en suite bedrooms, all furnished to the same standard as the 5 star Hotel."

Take a short stroll down to Lomond Shores and visit Jenners for shopping, then treat yourself or someone special to a new watch or some jewelery at Lomond Jewellers, before sampling great value cuisine at the Kilted Skirlie.
