nintendo 3ds will be in america in 2011 get ready for new 3ds, they just missed out on the christmas launch but for nintendo fans the wait won't be long for a new nintendo 3ds, i think it cost nintendo a lot of money though missing the launch of the christmas market 2010 though.

"If this holds true, the 3DS will be the first brand-new Nintendo hardware (not including console revisions) since the Game Boy Advance to not launch during the holiday season. While the GBA still proved successful, the push to release major hardware during the holiday season is outright expected nowadays, and Nintendo could be missing a huge opportunity for success if the console hits stores early in 2011, which now looks to be the case with the company's "before the end of the fiscal year" comments.

Then again, Nintendo, as they have shown time and again, aren't stupid. Perhaps this move is akin to the one they pulled off at E3 2010, letting the competition take on the motion gaming crowd while winning favor by simply showing great games. With PlayStation Move and Kinect for Xbox 360 set to go to war this holiday, Nintendo could be sitting on the porch sipping a Pina Colada, biding their time until the 3DS drops to blow both out of the water. The move also puts more emphasis on Nintendo's surprisingly deep Wii lineup for the holiday, including Kirby's Epic Yarn and the very game Fallon and Reggie play together, Donkey Kong Country Returns."
